“We’re so cutting edge, who needs the law??”

Looking at a job posting for a random business online, I noticed that it says:

“Looking For A Young Web/Graphic Designer”

Um, unless said company has fewer than 20 employees… isn’t that illegal? I’m no lawyer, but as far as I know, age is one of the protected statuses against which businesses can’t discriminate. I mean, would it be okay if the job requirement said “Looking for a caucasian Web/Graphic Designer”??

In other news, I’m going to the 16th annual conference of the Klingon Language Institute this week. FYI, I do not dress up in costumes.
